Career Plans

The career Im Interested in is Architecture. I have chosen this profession to fulfill to my desire to work in the field of architect. Ever since i was little i liked creating things and drawing 3D designs. This career will be a blessing to have because it is a well payed career plus its something i love.

The reason why I thought of this career field is because i loved creating buildings and cities with a giant basket of legos my cousin gave me when i was 8. Later did i notice that there was actually a career that was fairly similar to that of building legos. Once i was exposed to this career i fell in love with it. i would do this for no money.

I believe I will be working very swiftly and dedicated on every given assignment. Taking time to truly analyze and create outstanding sketches so that the final product can be generated into a giant work of art. This would be typical day to me, although i'll be getting paid a decent amount of rewarding money. This would simply be an enjoyment to my life with my talent and dedication.

  • What are the special skills, talents, traits qualifications needed for the occupation you're interested in?
There are many special skills and traits needed to qualify to become an Architect. First of all, I have to be very well organized in this job. I also manage many construction contracts and prepare scaled drawings with computer software and by hand.

  • In what ways are you suited for this career?
I am suited for this career because i am well organized and patient. Many objectives can be determined and requirements for structures can be complete. I am also suited for this because i will be attending college for four years so i could be able to pursue this career.

  • Where could you gain experience NOW for this career? What steps (think creatively) could you take to gain experience - before you graduate?
There are typically three main steps to becoming a licensed Architect: completing a professional degree in architecture, gaining relevant experience through a paid internship, and passing the Architect Registration Exam. Non of which i could gain experience now before high school graduation, but by the college i will be attending will help me achieve this.

  • From your searching, the number of jobs available in California and what the Department of Labor & Statistics states about the "job outlook" for your career field - what did you discover?
I discovered that every job here in California as an Architect is highly competitive. Years of experience have to be a minimum of at least two to five years and also have a Bachelor's Degree. I also discovered that i have to be rapid in visualizing conceptual ideas that incorporate interior and graphic design. The ideal candidate must be professional and demonstrate their understanding and ability to communicate architectural, interior, and product design concepts quickly and compellingly. We must be very proactive to compete as an Architect.

Never Do Drugs!

My topic was about the consequences human beings deal with when they get caught up on drugs. It also dealt with the difficulties it took to stop doing drugs but at the same time how easily it was to get back on drugs again.

I learned how drug use can cause your mind to lose your ability to lose your ability to remember things, to think clearly and study properly. drug use gives you the impression that you are more alert and aware, but truly when an individual is under the influence of drug they are actually less aware, and less alert.

The interesting facts I used from the drug website was that drug use can make you ill and an overdose can kill and that they are poisonous. Also, drug use interferes with your ability, which can make it harder to earn money from your work places. Another fact that was interesting was that drug use makes you act strangely in unpredictable ways.

My rough sketches and ideas are here.

© 2013 Copyright. All Rights Reserved

According to  Google, Copyright is the exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same. One scenario example of what would constitute "copyright" would be downloading free music from a peer-to-peer network. Unless if an individual had permission from the copyright holders, it would be copyright infringement. There can be many different scenarios but another example would be downloading articles and publishing them with your name on it.

Fair use can be from copying any copyrighted material. Fair use implies to people that copy or transform any materials that isn't theirs. In other words, is a defense against a claim of copyright infringement. One example of fair use can be quoting a few lines from a "50 cent" song in a music review.

Shepard Fairey was pleaded guilty for copyright infringement over his famous image of Barack Obama. Soon the Federal court finds that Shepard had destroyed the documents that would prove that he had not used the photo of Obama. Fairey was ordered to pay $25,000 in fines in a dispute that dates back to 2009. This goes to show that even professionals could get caught for copyright infringement.

There are ways in which copyright may be completely avoided altogether without having to interpret the fair use doctrine, and that is through what is known as public domain and creative commons. Copyright Protection applies automatically to many types of creative works. Public Domain, according to UC is often a work of the United States government or the copyright has been expired, etc. Another free legal tool, according to Creative Commons, can be a nonprofit organization that enables the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge and this could be known as a creative common.

Dream Destination Getaway

The Emirates Stadium in London is a dream destination for me because it is the home of the red and white Gunners. This will truly be unforgettable for me because Arsenal FC has been my favorite team since I started being a fan of soccer. The atmosphere of the stadium is the main reason I've always wanted to go. Emirates Stadium was constructed so the roars and cheers of the fans will remain concealed in this soccer temple. This will not only convert energy into every passionate fan but to the players on the pitch also. It is for this reason that Emirates Stadium is a dream destination for me.

The original website for more information on the stadium can be seen...here!

I imagine that the Emirates Stadium will look like this from this angle.
